Measure the width of the area you would like to cover. This is your ordering width - fullness is already accounted for.
We recommend extending the total span out from the edges of your window or door as much as 6"- 12" on each side, when space permits. This will allow as much natural light as possible when the drapery is open.
For Ripple-Fold Drapery: Your ordering width for drapery must be the same as your custom track hardware ordering width, in order for the drapery and track hardware to be compatible.
Measure the desired length of your drapery. Keep in mind the hardware type you plan to use and where it will be mounted. Ripple-Fold drapery and drapery that will be hung using rings will hang below the track hardware or rod, so you will need to deduct the height of the track hardware or rings to calculate the total length of the drapery. (See our Measuring Instructions for the deductions specific to each custom track hardware and drapery ring collection.)
The finished length you provide is the exact measurement we'll use to create the drapery. Increase the length if puddling is desired.
