Milo Baughman Free Form Sofa Sectional
As the 1970s transitioned to the '80s, iconic designer Milo Baughman moved away from the stark angularity of modern furniture in favor of rounder, softer curvilinear forms, like this sofa originally known as the #8220. Set on a substantial plinth base, the modular pieces create a fluid, biomorphic shape that imparts a sense of movement. The sofa is handcrafted in North Carolina by the distinguished furniture maker Thayer Coggin, which has manufactured Baughman's collections since the mid-1950s.
