Andy Warhol: Polaroids
American Pop Art pioneer Andy Warhol is perhaps the most celebrated and influential artist of the genre, one whose works prompted a radical reevaluation of what constituted artistic subject matter. From the late 1950s until his death in 1987, Warhol carried around a Polaroid camera and accumulated an enormous collection of photos. This incredibly personal visual library presents hundreds of pictures by the artist, of lovers, friends, celebrities and even himself – many of which have never been seen before.
